I am seemingly allergic to dora, unless it's a dora yakuhai pair, I very rarely get more than 3 in a hand.

I tend to hit ura-dora like a madman though.

A method I always forget to use is something (I think) called kabe. An example would be: If you know the location of all of the 7-bam or 8-bam be they in your hand, or in people's ponds, or whatever, then there is no way someone could have a 7-bam 8-bam tile shape waiting on the 6-bam or 9-bam, thus...
