Yeah. The apostrophe is totally inappropriate. "Pros" might look weird, so if you don't like "pros" then you could say "pro players" or "professionals" or "professional players"

I've noticed that a lot of users' posts contain the dual string /' in place of apostrophes. Perhaps this is because their computers automatically insert "smart quotes" (left-and-right single-quote marks rather than simple apostrophes)? Or perhaps because those users are on a Macintosh computer? Anyw...
