What about the case where you draw a tile that is already in your hand, and rather than tsumokiri, you discard the older tile? This seems to toe the line of \"quiet bluffs\"; on the one hand, it is an action designed solely to mislead your opponent, but it doesn\'t seem quite as openly disingenuous ...

Discard the 6 sou; it\'s the one tile that doesn\'t directly help you achieve junchan, sanshoku, or ittsuu. This admittedly lowers your chances of having a double-sided wait for pinfu, but I think we can shoot higher than that, especially if this is early in the hand.

Keeps your options open for either the 3-4-5 sanshoku or the iipeikou (or both, if you\'re lucky enough to draw two 4-crak). The tanyao is a nice bonus, too.
