Re: FINALLY!!! Found and bought an automatic Mahjong table!
Yes of course, Anime Milwaukee! I knew it had to be either AMKE or someone from the California Tournament. Small world? Anyway, I don't think you'd be able to fit this in the trunk of a car at all, even if you disassemble it...they had to use a moving company to deliver it in the first place. But th...

Re: FINALLY!!! Found and bought an automatic Mahjong table!
I would not call it a compact table at all, it's about 250 lbs in weight, and it's standard table height. I know that Versatile Machinery has some fold up tables for easy transport, but I don't know which ones support the 36mm Japanese-style tiles...you'd have to ask Vicky. Yes, Wisconsin is correct...

Re: FINALLY!!! Found and bought an automatic Mahjong table!
First of all some pictures... http://imageshack.us/g/717/img0337du.jpg/ As for the tile size this is the one thing I (kind of) had to compromise on. I've seen standard Japanese tile sizes from 26mm to 29mm for automatic dealers and up to 33mm in manual playing sets. I naturally wanted to find someth...

FINALLY!!! Found and bought an automatic Mahjong table!
Hello all! Below is my automatic mahjong table story and further below is a review of the actual table that I bought. Story I've been a Riichi Mahjong player for five years now, playing at first with an "American" set with which I used the extra blank tiles as the Haku and painted four of the fives ...

Looking for a Japanese Automatic Mahjong Table
The title says it all...has anyone had any luck in finding a way to buy a Japanese Automatic Mahjong Table? I've found several ways to buy Chinese tables, but I'm specifically looking for one that will use Japanese-sized tiles (which I believe are about 1" x 3/4" x 5/8"...someone on this board will ...

Re:reach mah jong on your mobile?
There\'s always Four Winds Mahjong @ http://www.4windsmj.com/ They have a version there for Windows Mobile (PocketPC). It supports Riichi Mahjong, but strangely enough the points are scaled differently...as if the value of everything was decreased by 80%. The game still works, but seeing a Mangan no...

Yakuman DS Menu Translation Help
Hello all! A couple weeks ago I tracked down a copy of Yakuman DS so I could play some Riichi on the go. While I have found a pretty good translation guide on GameFAQS for much of the game, something that remains untranslated is the set of rules pages. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone here would...

Saki 1.5 Mahjong Set Pictures
Today I received the Saki 1.5 Set that I purchased from Hirohurl. Here are my impressions and some photos of this awesome set for those of you contemplating picking one up. Photos! The tiles have a glossy finish and are medium-weight compared to other tiles I\'ve used. They have bright, almost neon ...

Re:"Saki" Anime Character Mahjong Set...
First of all, I should probably introduce myself as the person who bought the Saki 1.5 set. Yeah... OK...with that out of the way, for those of you looking for the Saki 1.5 set because of the special red five...if you look at the anirena link for the 2.0 set that was poster earlier, don\'t they show...

Re:Looking for automatic mahjong table sale agent
Hello to everyone on ReachMahjong.com! (first post!) Just wanted to share a response from AOTOMO that I received when I e-mailed them about their automatic tables. The Short Version: While cheap, IMHO, for an automatic table, the AOTOMO tables only come with the large Hong Kong tiles (i.e. no red fi...
