Re: Overview of current mahjong video-games

Any one have some info on the steam game called "Mahjong Riichi Multiplayer"? It's for 9.99, so I only have seen the screenshots. One thing I didn't like it's in the screenshot where you can see a partial list, you see they've gotten for the "Closed +1" route, which we know it's not really how thin...

Re: Overview of current mahjong video-games

3-crak Although they removed some major parts of the Kamuro map, they also added lots of new routes so there are still bits to explore. There are many new shops/restaurants too and you can carry fights into the konbini. (I have to play the first yet, I'll buy it someday). I just noticed that the PS4...

Barticle wrote:Yes, except that these features were already absent from the original Japanese RGG6 too, not just "lost in translation".
Ohh, that's weird... Well, as long I like the game, everything is OK.

This should be your favourite game ever! :) I've downloaded the demo but not played yet. Re: Overview of current mahjong video-games

Yeah, I played the Hokuto ga Gotoku demo a lot. Looks so awesome... My twin said: The game looks cool considering is from SEGA... Sooo, you're going to buy it, right? (My twin knows how much I like both Yakuza games and Hokuto no Ken.) Me: You bet! If the game is not released in Europe, I'll import ...

Re: Overview of current mahjong video-games

Yes, a saw videos about the system changes, and Yakuza 6 looks awesome. A different matter is the story. Yakuza 5's story was just meh, so I don't high hopes for the 6's game.

For me the best stories are the ones in the second and fourth games (I have to play the first yet, I'll buy it someday).

Re: Overview of current mahjong video-games

A few days ago saw a Yakuza bundle (6 and Zero) in the european PSN. Bought it. Yakuza 6 will be out in less than two months, and I'll be able to download it. Yakuza Zero is pretty good so far, but I'm just starting. Chapter 2... 80's Japan is weird, as is the flow of cash in this game. I'm positive...

Re: Overview of current mahjong video-games

The latest trailer shows some of the minigames. Looks like one of Sega's old skool Hokuto no Ken games will be playable! https://youtu.be/y5yceH2_IoQ?t=4m20s Yeah, that's really cool! The game looks actually great even if I still have my doubts about the voice actors. They used 龍が如く/Ryuu ga Gotoku/...

Re: Overview of current mahjong video-games

With the exception of Tekken 2 :D I'm not really into fighting games. I knew about GG and BB though and had mentioned these on page 1. Of course soon there will be a Ryū ga Gotoku / Hokuto no Ken crossover game which will feature brawler combat - and possibly mahjong as well...? That title has my t...

Re: Overview of current mahjong video-games

Oh yeah, I forgot to put the name. :) (I had already added the game to page 1 of this thread though.) It does look pretty basic, but it's nice to see a mahjong game for the Switch. Kinda surprised I hadn't seen one previously. It's from Arc System Works who made the Tottemo e-Mahjong games for Vita...
