You ask what feature we might like, and I will say, having a good open source one in C is my preference.
I do not find a lot of issues with existing computer mahjong game, although there are some features I would like to see. I will refrain from mentioning them at this time.

Re: WWYD 2013-07-22
Mahjong is sometimes played with two of red 5pin. Does this one do that, or not? (Does the rule panel on the right specify if it doesn't? It looks to me it might, but I don't read Japanese perfectly; it would be good to make up the list specifying what the relevant Japanese words are) EDIT: I tried ...

Re: Alternative methods of enforcing Chombo
There are different things which can result in chombo penalty, so you should be depending on such things.

Re: Japanese Classical
Japanese Classical is the first one I learned to play; I learned it from a book from the library. (However, I didn't actually have a set of mahjong tiles at that time; I do now.) Before that, I have read other books about mahjong, although they were for other variations that I didn't like as much as...

Re: Mahjong Achievement List
I may have done Yuuki, Nodoka, and Hisa, but not the others under Saki character based. To make a more strange mahjong game you can add some of all of these things as extra rules to give you more points and that stuff. Sumire might also be done with some rules that allow sometimes seeing other playe...

Re: Riichi Rules Advice
It's like making a chess tournament, and arranging a poll asking the players if they want to play with castling or not. But that is chess; normally you will know, it is FIDE chess so it will follow FIDE rules, which includes castling; if you want to play a variant that is OK as long as you make it ...

Re: Scoring Limits Simplified (an excercise in Theory/Absurd
I myself prefer 25 fu, and eliminates rounding (which means that a tsumo win is not actually worth more due to rounding).Shirluban wrote:If you don't want to count the mini-points, you can just use the 30 mini-points line for each hand.

Re: First Live Game
If possible with what you have, you may be able to mix the tiles in a bag similar to how they do it in Washizu mahjong (regardless of whether or not you are using any transparent tiles)

Pokemon Card
I can play mahjong but I can also play Pokemon Card. I play mostly by the old standard rules (although sometimes with randomized decks); but one rule I change is the tie-breaking rules; I don't like the standard ones much (in my rules, ties usually stand, although sometimes the attacker loses). I al...

Re: Anime Central Tournament (2012)
These rules are unusual game to me; a few of these are different from anything else I have seen.
If you do, it should be added only after all oka, uma, and so on; since cosplay is not really a part of the game.Barticle wrote:You should add +20k pts for mahjong manga/anime cosplay. :)

I do have something to tell to you, which is, whichever music you select on the system menu, will be used in the free mode in normal mahjong game.
And the voice for the menus sometimes changes too.
Perhaps this can be added to the GameFAQs

Virtual Tsumo: Menzen tsumo counts 1 han for purposes of requirement only, but is not actually scored as 1 han, it is scored 0 han. Visible Ura Dora: Ura dora indicators are kept visible from the start of the deal. (You can base your decision on whether or not to declare riichi, and what tiles to ma...
