Re:Lucktile Mahjong Server
I answered my own questions and signed up ;)
I put money on a net-teller account, I\'m assuming the game points are traded directly for this money?
Now we just need one more person to sign up and we can arrange a game time!

Question: why is it a UK site despite being in Japanese??
For legal reasons? Can you play for money?

London Reach Mahjong
Anyone in the UK want to join me in starting a London club?
We could start with a monthly meeting.
Gemma\'s article got me thinking about this...

Re:Discussion Rule Variants
I like the visible ura-dora rule!!! Might have to try that.
Other rules I already use:
* Ippatsu doesn\'t stack with Tsumo
* Eliminate Fu - Everything is either 30 fu or 20 fu (pinfu)

Re:advice for a novice european player
Well, the free sites tend to have high-level lobbies as well which you have to earn your way into. The challenge there is decent. Overall though, Ron2 is probably tougher. The best way to learn is watch replays. You can also go on Tenhou and observe live games with players rated over 2100. Look at t...

Re:advice for a novice european player
Ron 2 is my least favorite site to play on.
I think Tenhou and JanRyuMon are better, as well as ToupaiOu.
Superior interfaces and graphics along with the same functionality for FREE. Ron 2 you have to pay for some reason.
