Re:What would you Discard
If you keep both the 2-dot and the 4-dot though, if you draw the 3-dot and never end up getting the 3rd 5-dot, that could be your head potentially in the end couldn\'t it? But if you use the 5-dot as your head, you\'ve got three other pairs that you can no longer use as the head. And there are at m...

Re:What would you Discard
I have to agree with WorTeX here. Discard the 2-dot, unless a red-dra has been discarded recently (or two have been revealed already). Also, I\'d go for toitoihou, unless I happened to pair up one of the unpaired tiles before I had a chance to pon or draw a third for one of the pairs. My reasoning f...

Re:My hand of the week
Sweet dealer\'s sanbaiman and instantly won the game for me. Uh, shouldn\'t that have been a kazoe-yakuman? Honroutou (2) + Toitoihou (2) + Honiisou (2) + Shousangen (2) + round wind East (1) + seat wind East (1) + Hatsu (1) + Chun (1) + Dora x3 = 15 han. Unless you were playing with the no-kazoe-y...

Re:The Best 3 Player Rules Set
I have no clue about scoring though, I think normal rules apply for winning from other players, but when you win with self draw the amount paid is 3/4 of the original (I think!). On Tenhou, scoring is normal for ron; for tsumo, the would-be North seat player\'s payment is ignored. This means a deal...

Can someone translate these?? I think it\'s some options for the video. Please translate as much as you can. I want to make a janryumon tutorialabout how to play :). Thanx a lot!! I can\'t read some of the tiny kanji, but basically, it\'s asking for any filters you want to search for replays. The w...

Re:What do you get if you cross mahjong w/ pachinko?
I found a playable online game!! http://game.5stone.net/online/jyan.html After about 3 or 4 hands, I was starting to notice that I was getting the EXACT same draws every time... Initial draw (in order): :east :south 8-bam 9-bam 6-crak red-dra :north :west :east red-dra :east :south 8-bam 9-...

If it happens to yourself: \"Holy smokes, I HAVE to win this hand.\"
If it happens to someone else: \"Ugh, stupid random number generator! It must be rigged!\"

Correct, a 1-crak indicator means 9-crak is the dora.

Ah, maybe so. I was certain it wasn\'t, but no matter. My bad. Hm. Looks like I had a false positive on my jerk sensor. My apologies for jumping down your throat, then. (Sorry, it seems to have turned into a reflex since that time I attempted to police a community that got invaded by 4chan /b/-tard...

Re:Riichi yaku/scoring quick reference.
You might want to change Ippatsu and Double Reach too (although Ippatsu is a Yaku in its own right). Again; it\'s really not, but it\'s obvious you people don\'t care. I don\'t know what source you\'re using, but the Mahjong Fight Club manuals (which are in Japanese, mind you) all list Ippatsu unde...

@Poochy: If you can read Pixiv policy, can you please check what they said about it? Thanks. The four major forbidden actions listed in Pixiv policy are posting images under your account that you didn\'t create yourself, reprinting other users\' works without permission, using the site for commerci...

The Pixiv policy forbids posting other people\'s work to the site. So I think we can safely assume that the account which posted the pictures belongs to the artist. The artist\'s user page: http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=167342 He/she also has a homepage URL listed: http://cuniculus.xxxxxxxx.jp/...
