Oupps!
It\'s 81 combinations in MCR, not 88 like I previous said.

Re:History of Mahjong: Cheating
You can choose how to play the tiles you are dealt, but Menzen Tsumo is completely random, unlike patterns you can aim for and choices you make based on the actions of other players. Reach is also a gameplay decision that you make which has its own effects. That\'s the difference. Menzen tsumo is N...

Re:Rules for start
Riichi seems to be the most complicated and restrictive style out there. MCR is a good concurent for the most complicated rule title. At a first glance it would seems simple, when you goes deeper in the scoring system ... MCR(Hard): Bunch of hand combinations, hard to remember them all, the...

Re:Nagashi Mangan
I got it once but there is a problem. What should I count in this situation? http://www.reachmahjong.com/home/images/fbfiles/images/DSC02189.jpg Oops. I forgot to spot out what\'s wrong. The opposite player\'s reach was a foul one, so should I count a chonbo-hand or mangan-hand? Lets seem ...

Re:History of Mahjong: Cheating
Menzen tsumo is necessary to the game as the only way to win a no-yaku hand without riichi. Uradora is what makes riichi worth to go for it. Give up all defense and hand improvement for just a single han is not very great. And for cheating: If someone wants to cheat by replacing tiles, he\'d better ...

Re:Hey, what would you discard?
The best would be to say tsumo.chalwa wrote:I had recently similar problem. I had:
2-dot 3-dot 4-dot 6-bam 6-bam 6-bam 7-bam 7-bam 8-bam 8-bam 9-bam white-dra white-dra white-dra
I don\'t renember dora, but I think it was none of those.
So what would be best to discard here?

Re:Yo, What would you discard this time?
I don\'t think riiching or not would made a big difference here.
In doubt don\'t reach, and the wanted tile would come naturaly as opponents discard their usless ones.
