I was able to keep playing live until March 21st, in Arizona, when the community center was closed.
Meanwhile, from across the ocean,

Cloth facemasks can make you safer (if they're made, handled, used, washed and dried correctly) but they don't make you safe and they can give a false sense of security. They shouldn't be seen as an alternative to practising effective distancing measures - avoiding unnecessary, prolonged and close contact with people from other households.
(Sorry to rant but I had to say something. I work in public health - at a hospital that has daily Covid deaths.)
Some mahjong groups have been looking into options for playing and chatting online.

Understood. We are aware of that.
In this area, there have been only 5 positives and not one had to be hospitalized.
Based on cases per capita, we feel relatively safe, especially in the indoor/outdoor area where we play.
Very different than what's happening in New York.
Thanks for your concern. We appreciate those that work in public health. Take care and be safe.
