FavIcon for ReachMahjong.com

I noticed the ReachMahjong.com has no favicon. That's the little 16x16 icon that shows in the web browser and also when a person bookmarks a page.



You can see the missing icon for ReachMahjong.com. It's a small deal, obviously, and one some sites don't bother with. But in case the site principals want one, I've asked a friend (who specializes in these things) to design one based on the slightly off-axis Red Dragon in the current ReachMahjong.com logo.

That's not the logo simply reduced and cropped to 16x16 (which would look awful) but a ground-up design based on your logo. The background is completely transparent and the PNG should be simple to convert to an ICO. It is designed slightly lighter in color so that it isn't distracting when shown just ahead of the site URL. You're free to use it (or not use it) as you see fit.

It would be nice if this icon could be implemented. RM is the only link in my Chrome favourites bar without one.

I've never noticed the forum lacks it.
Actually, RM.com site does have a favicon. Look at the main page

the PNG should be simple to convert to an ICO

There is a free online tool for it: ConvertIcon.
Unfortunately, it fails to convert correctly your file.
(These fools include the transparency bitmap mask on an icon who have an alpha channel.
Not a big problem for someone who know how .ico files are coded and can edit files in hexadecimal. )

Unzip and drop into the site root directory if your host will allow it.

***edit*** the favicon.ico needs to be moved from /en and/or /ja to the site root folder e.g. http://reachmahjong.com
