Welcome Ferrum_anulum323/Ruben!

How are you finding MFC on the Vita? I played the PSP version before coming to Japan and loved it (probably one of the reasons I got so stuck into Mahjong in general) curious as to how it plays on the Vita.

Ozball I'm sorry to say this is my first experience With any kind if MFC game so I really have nothing to compare it to. But I love the game it works just how is supposed to (As far as I know it does).

Shirluban I'm not an active member of M.A.I.L. but I do use the site to get patterns for my own things.

Hello radsku and SteveninNH!

Welcome abroad. If you need help with mahjong-related things, just ask, a lot of people will help gladly. They helped me out a lot of times, and I do the same when I can.

I and a couple friends of mine learned how to play at Sakuracon this weekend. Picked up the tiles for the first time Saturday morning and played for 10-15 hours. Came back on Sunday and got 2nd runner up in the tourney. Had a great time and I think I'll try and play some more. This site was on the key chain so I figured this would be the place to sign up! Please help me learn.

Welcome TheEsquire! Quest Buddies!

There are always slight variations on the rules. A reasonably standard set is used in this flash game: http://gamedesign.jp/flash/mahjong/mahjong_e.html if you want to practice against some CPUs. Other than that feel free to ask any questions you might have, nothing is too basic. :)

Haha, thanks! I'm currently trying to make heads and tails of tenhou right now, but it's throwing me for a loop. I've figured out how to watch other people play, so that's a start at least.

I picked up my tiles and Jenn's book at PAX East, so I just went with whatever rules she described for our first game. No house hands or any nonsense like that. But now I'm off to check out that link you sent me.

Thanks again! :D

That's actually a more 3D version but still good! They have a less 3D version (more like the site) here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ir.mahjong
