I know there is already a thread but... I like feeling special!
Anyway post here if you\'re going! Any advice you can give me. For travelling and places to stay etc etc (Travelling from Frankfurt or Berlin - not decided yet!) Greatly welcome!
Maybe even some friendly banter on result predictions!

Re:Cherry Blossom 2009
No idea who is going to win, but some players who have a great chance to, are:
- Desirée Heemskerk, who won the event in 2003 and the Kinryu Majan Taikai in 2006
- Gertjan Davies, current Dutch riichi mahjong champion
- Sjef Strik (if he can play; he is also an organizer), who won the Kinryu Majan Taikai in 2007 and in 2008
or, of the foreign players:
- Gemma Colinge, who still needs revenge for her 71st position on the EC Riichi 2008 in Hanover
- Björn Schulz, who does not come all the way from Koblenz for nothing!
But, do not forget: Marianne Croeze, Philippe Scharpf from Germany… I would not dare to place money on any of them!
