I´m thinking about getting a DS now although I´m going to wait for the new (big!) DSi XL to hit Europe and see how the sizes compare before I commit.

I´ll be getting MFC first then might try some other MJ titles. I see there are some educational DS "games" for learning Japanese too which will be cool.

If you can read Japanese, I recommend a title called \"puro ni naru ma-jan.\" It was one of the first DS mahjong games and it has several training modes including about a dozen stored games with commentary.

Have found it listed as both \"Nihon Pro Mahjong Kishikai Kanshuu: Pro Ni Naru Mahjong\" and (more simply!) \"Professional Mahjong DS\".
