It seems you can switch to several points of view, depending on which part of the table you're interested in.This is one of several that appears to show a nice close-up view on the table where the discards are clearly visible despite the 3D view. Maybe you can switch to this mode, or hold a button for it, or perhaps this is applied automatically when playing against the assistance mode opponents.

Janline-R works fine online in Europe and America. Just remember (as Rod mentioned) the Xbox version of MDC will probably be region-locked to Japan.And I wonder if I will be able to play mahjong online smoothly from my country if I buy it...
