Zung Jung / WSOM rules

Post by Shirluban » Sun Oct 24, 2010 3:54 pm

"Zung Jung" is a mahjong scoring system developed by Alan Kwan.
It is being adopted by the World Series of Mahjong competition.

If fact, WSOM rules are a (minor) variation of Zung Jung rules.

Thank you for posting these. I'm already a big fan of Zung Jung. As it happens, I was reading some of the old corners on the ZJ site and learned that Alan Kwan was a fan of riichi when he started the Zung Jung effort.

Zung Jung is not a bad rule set for mahjong.
