I know Kyuu and a fair contingent of players exist in the Chicago area of Illinois, I don't think there is a group closer than that, at least at this time.
Myself, I have to commute 2 hours to get to Club Riichi in Montreal. I know your pain.

Yea, we already have him in Facebook and what-not. If he's really desperate for a mahjong session, I may recommend Anime Milwaukee. I'll be up there meeting up some Wisconsinites.

Yea for now im trolling around but I plan on going to all the conventions n visit chicago n such next year because currently im on papers >.< so technically I really cant go anywhere xd
