Beijing Mahjong

Post by York1jm » Fri Oct 08, 2010 8:54 am

Hey Guys,

Currently i am here in Beijing studying at the University, just wondering does anyone know what rules they use in Beijing? I keep getting conflicting rules when I search online. I have seen two different styles that are Beijing Mahjong. Just wondering if anyone has played Mahjong in Beijing before. Thanks.

The problem is that certainly not everyone in Beijing (or anywhere else) use the same rule.

I think the best is to ask directly to the locals.

And then ask some other locals.
And then ask some yet different locals.
Then decide for yourself what you want to do.

When you do, ask them where they learned that style of play. People in Beijing surely come from all over China.
