Hi, I was wondering if any one could help me with something

I moved to Japan a few months ago and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy a junk mat while I am here. I'm currently living in Taito-ku, Tokyo so I hope someone can tell me some place close, but I don't mind going elsewhere in Tokyo

They sell them in the Tokyu Hands near me. Could be worth a shot!

Also bought mine in Tokyu hands, for somewhere around ¥3,500 if memory serves, but cheaper ones can be found on amazon (especially if bought in bundle with tiles, see here for example). But the good thing about buying it in Tokyu hands is you can start fiddling right away :)

I also went one time to a mahjong stuff reseller and automatic table repair shop, I don't remember exactly but I seem to recall prices where pretty low. I think I researched "麻雀用品" in google maps.

The Donkihoutei here in Kobe sells them so you could try your local one. Also Amazon.co.jp is awesome and also has vendors (was where I got mine). Or use MahjongMart *hint hint* :D
