In a game yesterday I was in this situation:
with a triple crak-wait that puts me in furiten, or a penchan. If I discard either or I could draw/call (10 total tiles) and wait on , but if I draw/call bam then I'm furiten (on 10 tiles, but furiten nonetheless).

On the other hand, I could discard one of and wait on (and to have a better wait) without being furiten.

I would toss knowing all the information you provide.

Having round wind tiles and being those the dora, I would call tiles if I need to. South is already ponned, so... Better to be fast, and avoid furiten to tsumo or ron anything, any tile. Looks like you'll get Yakuhai (South) + 3 Dora if you win, no matter the route.

Your discard on round 5 also tilts towards the . You wouldn't want to draw and end up still furiten on a wait...
