At first I was thinking just throw the 4b, but you\'re actually a bit behind... It might be better to throw the 3c or 6c and go with a sanshoku? Although I\'m not sure, that would take some luck to get done.

Ah, let\'s go with it. 3c... there\'s no real reason to go with the 6c, you might still make a 567 in which case you can settle for a mangan.

I looked through a few of the questions on that website...

http://www.konami.jp/am/mfc/mfc7/nanikiru/20090411.html

This is the only one I\'ve seen so far that doesn\'t make any sense at all to me. Any ideas?

3-bam seems the best choice for me, going for sankshoku and tenpai as fast as possible by getting rid of it ,while getting back some points that were lost...

Responding to July:

That MFC WWYD makes sense. You want to keep the 3-crak in case you draw the 2-crak dora. No point in keeping the 5-crak for a 5-crak 5-crak 6-crak 6-crak 7-crak 7-crak double run because it\'s worth the same as a dora but harder to make, and you risk giving up pinfu due to a single wait.

No point discarding from the bams or dots yet because you want to keep your drawing options open (possibility of bam pair/set, even 4-bam 5-bam 5-bam red-bam, or 2-dot 3-dot 4-dot red-dot 6-dot type three-sided waits for flexibility)

You already have pinfu-dora-dora, so with either reach on top of that, tanyao or a 2-crak you can get an easy mangan. You might even have the luxury of not having to reach for it and letting people deal you the winner easily instead.

You don\'t think it\'s time to update that signature of yours? Way I see it, the information is outdated. 53rd on win rate on toupaiou, isn\'t it?

And that JRM average place, how many games is that over?

The Toupaiou was over about 250 hanchan.

I\'ve retired from serious online play now because my internet has started to disconnect randomly. It hit my account so much I pretty much gave up playing for rating. I also don\'t play on Toupaiou at all any more.

Janryumon I\'m playing more for fun, although that disconnects even more. The number was from about 50 east-only games, so yeah, doesn\'t amount to much!

Only discard possible I can see is the 3m but dno. Possibly the 3p might be better...

3-crak

if 4-crak drops you can discard the 6-crak , if a 7-crak drops you can discard the other 3-crak. At least this way you keep the option open for San Shoku Doujun, particularly given that it is relatively early on in the hand as well

I tend to agree with the previous two opinions and would discard the 3-Characters (3-man).

I definitely would not break up the Coin configuration (just in case a 5-Coins drops in).

I\'d drop 3m.

You don\'t really want to drop 3p for the case (as hirohurl said above) that you come across the 5p, and with that 3rd 4s draw, any reason of the 3m\'s sticking around is gone
