Hi! Long time reader, first time poster (actually, I only started reading a couple of weeks ago :P)

Anyway, here\'s my shot at this.

I would discard the 5d, which would make you 1 shanten. Once 5d is discarded, I\'d be waiting for a 3c, 6c, 2b, or 5b. Once one of those come, I\'d be tenpai and have a two sided wait for my winning tile and go out with pinfu.

Just looking at the tiles, however, I have this gut feeling you could make a pinfu, tanyao, ipeiko/sanshoku... but they have more tiles you need to wait for.

Thoughts?

I would discard 2-dot or 2-bam . I\'m trying to form Pinfu and Sanshoku (of 345), so by discarding one of those tiles, I become Isshanten.

If I discarded 2-bam, the issue of 1-dot 2-dot 2-dot 3-dot 3-dot 4-dot 5-dot Dots has to be resolved later on.
1-dot 2-dot 2-dot 3-dot 3-dot 4-dot is already 2 Chows but I want a 3-dot 4-dot 5-dot, so it would break into 1-dot 2-dot 2-dot 3-dot and 3-dot 4-dot(+ 5-dot).
The 1-dot 2-dot 2-dot 3-dot will \"optimally\" become 1-dot 2-dot 2-dot 2-dot 3-dot in which I\'ll then discard 5-crak to become Tenpai on 3-crak / 6-crak.
Alternatively it could become 1-dot 2-dot 3-dot (after discarding a 2-dot), which means that your Crak bit will probably have to be 3-crak 4-crak 5-crak 5-crak or 4-crak 5-crak 5-crak 5-crak for Tenpai?!

As for discarding 2-dot, I would aim to form a pair out of 5-crak (assuming I draw another one), 2-bam or 5-bam (preferably 2-bam so then I can discard 5-crak and be Tenpai for a Sanshoku of 345).

Sorry if I sounded too confusing.

i would discard the just drawn 2-bam because by that way i can keep the chance of the ii-peiko and the sanshoku.
