So this comes from one of my Ron2 League matches this week. The main issue I had with this decision was the fact that due to this being an online match the time I had to think about it was quite short. I'm curious as to what other's would have discarded.

Obviously an honor is to be discarded. Double South is the best choice because... well, the south getting extra points won't hurt you if you're last anyways, but it might hurt the others, so they'll be more likely to drop the south first, so you'd be less likely to pon it even if you drew a pair.

In a normal situation the South is a no-brainer, but even here it ends up being the best choice by a nonzero margin.
