Here are my two cents on English alternatives to some Mahjong words.
Yakuman: Ultimate Hand
[EDITED]
Mangan: Limit Hand
Haneman: Limit Break
Baiman: Double Limit Hand
Sanbaiman: Triple Limit Hand
English terms for Reach Mahjong

Re:English terms for Reach Mahjong
>Mangan: Limit Hand
>Haneman: Limit Break
>Baiman: Double Limit Break
>Sanbaiman: Triple Limit Break
But Baiman isn\'t double Haneman, it\'s double Mangan.
Why not:
Mangan - Limit
Haneman - Limit and a half
Baiman - Double Limit
Sanbaiman - Triple Limit
Yakuman - Quadruple Limit
The usage of the word \"limit\" is based on mahjong precedent (since from the 1920s the term has been used in mahjong). When you can break the limit, the word\'s meaning becomes stretched, but I wouldn\'t be in favor of a word borrowed from another game (like \"slam\" for instance).

Re:English terms for Reach Mahjong
That was bad wording on my part.
Should have read \'Double Limit Hand\' rather than \'Double Limit Break\', for instance.
