It\'s actually a game for Super Nintendo, playing against the computer. I have never played Japanese Mahjong against other people before (mostly because nobody else wants to play, and also a mistake in the mahjong set I have that the back is the same as the front so it is harder to tell the blank tiles without turning them over, in which case the opponent will also know you have a blank tile).

I think we need to start a separate thread for VS. human stats. Playing VS. CPU is much easier (i.e. getting an average place of 2.0 on Mahjong Fight Club CPU is alarmingly easy).

Also, for the online ratings versus human players to be accurate you need to play at least 100 games or so for the variance to even out. Will start another thread in a bit, possibly divided by game site depending on how many of us there are.

Hmm yeah I guess your right. I\'ll repost my stats when I reach 100 games played on toupaiOu, at 76 atm and managed to bump my rating to 1725 thanks to winning my first su-anko when I was at 4th place ;)

This is mostly for my own reference, since most players are not really interested in other players stats, as evidenced by the fact that no one else has posted here in the last 7 years. I'm not even interested in my own anymore. It was fun while learning.
Having now played over 5000 games (hanchans) on this app, my priorities seem to be winning the match (obviously), not discarding the winning tile, and not coming in 4th place. Since different video games have varying levels of difficulty, the rest is very subjective and has seen its last update. There are some good reference links below to explore, if you're interested.
