The term for when you're ready without a yaku?

Does anyone know the Japanese and/or the English term for this? For example, if you melded 3 chows and a pung but they don\'t make a yaku, what would you call it?
Also, is there a term for when this happens, but is temporary? For example, if you have a pinfu/peace hand that would be waiting if you didn\'t have a one chance chow. This is temporary because you can switch tiles to make it a two sided wait (e.g. if you have 2c and 4c, draw a 5c and discard 2c).
