This situation is not bound to happen much if at all, but in my situation not long ago...
I was North and was dealt ten different terminals and honors and was planning on going for the kokushi musou, but guess what?
East went daburu riichi!
No calls later, and I decided to declare the kyushuukyuhai draw.
What would you have done if you were dealt 10 or 11 different T&Hs when faced with a daburu riichi before your first turn?
10 diff T&H vs daburu riichi, what do you do?

Declare the abortive draw. Someone has done this to me before, and it is so incredibly frustrating. Probably the only thing worse would be having a starting hand that's tenpai as a non-dealer and someone declares an abortive draw before you draw your tile. Was that yakuman coming? You'll never know now!
Anyway, you already know that East is tenpai; and you're not tenpai. It's no contest. Mahjong is largely luck; don't ignore a chance to negate another player's lucky starting hand.

Calling Kyuushu Kyuuhai against someone's double riichi? Yea, aborting is a good way to say: "FU and your riichi".
