Yakuman Club Revisited

Re: Yakuman Club Revisited
Knew that but you reminded me that I forgot to include toi-toi above.
Hope it is correct now. (10 han instead of 8, still a baiman)
My question was, if I did not kan the , do you get Suuankou IN ADDITION to Daisangen when the is tsumo, which it was.
Basically, can you stack yakuman? Just found these from back in 2010,
possibly the answer to my own question, unless things have changed.

There are dozens of different optional rules that may be applied (or not) within the framework of the modern Japanese rules. Stacking yakuman and double-yakuman are just two of these.
The EMA do not allow stacking of two or more different yakuman (specified in section 4·2 of their rulebook)

Tenhou:
There are no "double yakuman" but you can stack multiple yakuman (suu an kou is 1 yakuman, but suu an kou + daisangen is 2 yakuman).

Re: Yakuman Club Revisited
I personally wouldn't choose a rule option that would deny myself and others the thrill of landing (or even just witnessing) a rare stacked yakuman hand.
You might like to ponder the theoretical maximum number of yakuman you can stack in one hand.

Spoiler: show
Re: Yakuman Club Revisited
I still have issue with the second of those combinations, but whatever. This is a game with multiple rule details to be set between the players.
Re: Yakuman Club Revisited
This has been almost 1.5 years silent... It's one of the easy three, but oh well, why not?

Re: Yakuman Club Revisited
Nice. I've been playing the new PS4 game for a few days and got a very similar hand with dots and a wind.
I made the quad to get an extra draw and found one red in the dead wall, denying me the Yakuman.
At least I was able to get the trophy for making Little Three Dragons. It was worth a Baiman with those Dora too.
I managed to complete the hand a couple of days later though and got the Yakuman trophy.
(Now I need to get the double Yakuman trophy! )
I've been close to a few other Yakuman hands - this one was the most tantalizing!

Initially, I was going for Honitsu and Toi-Toi, but when 48,000 appeared, I realized what I had. All green. Ryūiisō. My first one ever, and it only took 6 years.
I'm glad this one didn't get away.

Re: Yakuman Club Revisited
Wow, very nice! That's about twenty times rarer than the commonest Yakuman hands.
Re: Yakuman Club Revisited
It is a shame that this particular game doesn't recognize it, but here it is. Special version of one of the "big three" Yakuman, that the game left at still a yakuman. Earlier in the same game, I discovered that the game also doesn't recognize Nagashi Mangan. Oh well.
Re: Yakuman Club Revisited
Finally got my 2nd one of the Big Three Dragons.
First one was 2 years ago but this time I was EAST and nobody called riichi while I was going for it.
