Aug 20, 2017. Time certainly seems to move fast. Today marks a "Fantastic 4" years of playing japanese mahjong and being on the forum. Posting activity has slowed considerably (it was inevitable), but I am still going strong in my live games and having loads of fun. I now play twice a week with the ladies and sometimes have 2 tables going with riichi. Two years ago they were all playing chinese. I have to admit to a sense of pride and satisfaction when I watch them play riichi mahjong at a table I'm not sitting at, knowing I'm to "blame"........... thanks to you guys.

On another note, tomorrow is the arrival of a TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE in the USA, and I am at ground zero, on the Oregon Coast. Should be an incredible sight.

Happy anniversary! Great to know your group is still thriving and remains loyal to riichi rules.

Yeah, dude, it's awesome!
Life is as beautiful as you want it to be, but it´s only one. That´s why you must not get tired of it. Don´t care if you don´t say something that seems "important" because your mere existence is important for someone.
