Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku: Reform without wasted draws

Post by Johnstonjamese » Fri Mar 19, 2010 11:30 pm

Okay, I tried my hardest to keep silent on this, but after watching the second and third episode, I can no longer.

Question: What do Koizumi, Bush, Margrate Thatcher, Kim Jong Ill, Colin Powel, and The Pope all have in common?

Apparently it\'s MAHJONG!

Anyone that finds any kind of joy in mahjong needs to check this out for sheer shock factor! The episodes are only about 10 minutes long so check out the first one! I\'ll give a cookie to anyone who can spot the cultural reference in the title of this show too!

Koizumi is too good to keep quiet about it. B)

Thanks for the clips - I\'d only seen the DVD trailer previously.

I guess in real life Koizumi was big on reform and efficiency...

The reference is during Koizumi\'s campaign, his slogan was \"Reform without sanctuary,\" so what did they call the series? \"Reform without wasted draws.\" ^_^

I see! Well I guess I was half right so that\'s got to be worth half a cookie. :P

BTW Thanks for the latest book review. I do look forward to them.
