A nice hand, without doing anything!

A nice hand, without doing anything!
Well, its not a big deal since it was on a video game, and I didnt have to do anything but press a button to get it, but it was nice to see, so I thought I'd share it. As the dealer, it was worth 48,000 pts.

Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
Haven't seen one in awhile well done ^^ looks like luck was on your side
Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
This has never ever happened to me and I am insanely jealous!
Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
Very funny! For reference, it happened in my 7,110th hand on this app, (680th game). Keep trying!
Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
Wow the OPs tenhou puts my first Yakuman ever (came yesterday) to shame. I was dealt:
(or something similar, I don't remember the tiles I discarded very well)
Managed to draw another green dragon on my 2nd draw and then pon both red and green in short succession followed by the player to my left discarding the for my Ron. It was made all the more sweeter by the fact that I was oya (dealer) and the person I won of had just won of my about 4 or 5 hands in a row just before (with one of the other two winning a hand to knock him off dealer) leaving me with only 6000 points. So not only did I get my first fixed yakuman (I've had a counted one before but not a fixed hand one) but I got revenge on the player by knocking him out and taking first place. I wish I had a screenshot but I haven't gotten the MFC's hot snap feature set up properly, so my screenshots didn't save

Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
I have been on ron2 for five years and still not a single yakuman on there. I must be doing something wrong... :S
Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
I havnt played ron2 or tenho it just seems so complicated although I loved anything japanese I have yet had the chance to study it so I no underdtand but I do no that luck loves me:3 and I sure do love yakumans xD
Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
Once again, I got a nice hand without having to do anything but press the tsumo button. No big deal, but it was nice to look at so here it is, this one only worth 32,000 points. The question I have is this: The definition below states that you must be the dealer and that the drawn tile must make a pair with one of the other 13 unrelated tiles. This was not the case! I was not the dealer and the pair was already in my hand. Sloperama.com states the same thing. BARTICLES guide does not make any such claims. Neither does Wikipedia. What gives?

Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
Since when was anything to do with mahjong rules simple or consistent?
It might be that some rule-sets add extra criteria to make it more deserving of a yakuman.
What guide/s are you quoting here btw?

The one above is mahjonginmame.com under yaku and the
sloperama.com definition is under FAQ #25.
If you google "13 unrelated tiles in mahjong", these are the first two that come up.

Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
Thanks, I was thinking mainly of the ones where you'd "quoted" a screen grab.
What's the source for the tenhou text in your original post?

Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
if you are referring to my original post for a heavenly hand, it came from Wikipedia, "Japanese Mahjong Yaku"
not sure what you mean when you say i quoted a screen grab.

Re: A nice hand, without doing anything!
Okay, cool - I used the English Wikipedia pages a lot when I was learning but that was a few years ago now plus they've changed a bit since then.
I just meant I should've been more specific in my original question.
