Thanks team. :) I'll take the uchikiru as "finish" rather than "terminate" - just play one game to the end, win or lose.

That's some great Kit Kat trivia!

...but which flavour do they choose? There are so many...

I have had the wasabi Kit Kat, actually very nice.

I'm a bit confused by Mu Mahjong rules:
point #10 wrote:ノーテン親流れ(オーラスならゲーム終了)
流れ 【ながれ】 (n) (1) stream; current; flow; (2) course of events
Does that means the deal passes when East is noten, and so it's tenpai renchan?
Or does that means East continues when he's noten, and so it's noten renchan?

For the last part, I understand the game stops when East is noten on the last hand.

Can you help, please?

It says that the deal passes when East is in noten.

Edit: Also, yes, the last part is: game end if it´s in the Ôrasu (last hand.)

Oya-nagareru = deal flows out.
Oya-nagasu* = deal made to flow out.

Mukoubuchi has a story involving Kai refusing* renchans as a way to guarantee scoring second in 10 games, in its usual binta-loaded tonpuusen matches. But then he refuses them again in another 10 and gets first. Standard storyline for that manga.

I'm just playing Mahjong Fight Club PSP and the options for abortive draws use similar terminology.

流局·親流れする (do flow) = draw and new dealer
流局·親流れなし (without flow) = draw and same dealer

I just had a Suu Fon Renda draw and the Fight Club rule-set uses the second option there so we went from South 2 to South 3.

Sound.
This reads as Nôten tile reversion, inversion (upside down). So I bet it´s an option to show all hands, even those in nôten when a draw happens.
Character display or indication, or expression. I bet this is display.

So, or2az asked me to translate something for a game. It had so many things I decided to post it instead, in case somebody else tries the game.

The game name is 覇王 麻雀 天和 Haô Maajan Tenhô. Mahjong Supreme Ruler Tenhô (blessed by the heavens). For iOS.

https://itunes.apple.com/jp/app/ba-wang ... ?l=en&mt=8

Ok, lets go!

The game is for one player, 4 people mahjong. You can use tickets to get some advantages, but the game is completely free (there´s a shop, so maybe you can buy something with micro payments?). They say: You don´t need online? Then this game is perfect for you. (You´re only connected for rankings, bonuses, gifts, daily bonus yaku, and the like. No actual online play.)

The rankings change in real time.

Everyday there´s a ticket for you just for logging in. You can get tickets playing the challenge mode and winning five times consecutively or winning a hand with 6 dora or more, for example.

Now I´m going to explain the main menu.

Actual jackpot yaku. If you obtain this yaku you´ll get a huge boost on money points and experience points. The amount of winnable points keep going up, until one player of all of those who have this game obtain the Yaku. So only the first one get this. In the example pic on the iTunes store, the yaku is Dai Sû Shii . Below this there's the prize wich is: JP賞金 JP Prize of 500,000 JP 経験値 JP Experience Points 1,000 points.

Today bonus yaku. Lesser bonus. In the pic is Tan Yao Chû. Below this there´s an rectangle (in this case a orange and red colored one) with special campaigns, in this case, x3 experience points with 44 minutes last.

Two big rectangles:

Level rectangle (left side) / Life points rectangle (right side)
Life Points 1000/1000 (the green bar)
(name and the japanese pefecture) / 回復速度 Restoration Speed / 回復まで Until Restoration
Full Restoration

Blue buttons:

Continue

(Way to domination mode): Normal mode, you gain points, level up, and go up in the ranking to become the supreme ruler.

(The 36 chambers mahjong temple): 36 trials for you to do, and become a first class mahjong player.

(Challenge mode): Win with more points that the rules gives you, constantly. How many times can you complete those challenges?

(Free battle): Set everything as you lilke and play!

5 Buttons below those blue ones: Three looks kinda brown-green (and are really hard to read), and two are red and bigger.

Player information.

Achievement cancelation: To obtain tickets in exchange of achievements you earned.

Jackpotter. Looks like a lottery or something.

Shop.

Your opinion.

The red circle:

This show your ranking, in this case the overall rank shown is 174556. You can see the overall Ranking with 総合, or the weekly with 週間.

On it´s right, there´s one big rectangle. I´ll explain it now.

Lower left lone rectangle:

Tickets you have, in the example pic, 12. Below: 所特金 special funds area: in the example, 1,000.

Below that there are two brown-green buttons:

設定 Settings.

Advertisement elimination. (I hope I got this right as I couldn´t see a thing.)

Lower big rectangle divided:

Within rank 100th or less.

Shows the amount of money (G) obtained by those ranked as 100th or less. In this case 17,923,785 G.

This took me a lot of time because the image on iTunes store was so small, I couldn´t see the kanji in some buttons even when I was using my cell phone zoom to do so. When I zoomed in the max I could, the kanji where illegible. The problem is I don´t see to well. Usually I don´t have such problems, but with something so tiny...

Great job! I will post the screen shots separately in order to avoid going back and forth while reading your excellent work.

Excelent idea. If you need something, just ask.

Hello!

I'm updating my rules survey, and I've some trouble with some rule-points.
So I'll appreciate some help.

1) Nihon Pro Mahjong, about kuikae (swap-calling).
I understand kuikae is forbidden (second line: "Kuikae is dead hand."), but I'm not sure if it applies only to discarding the same tile, or if it applies to chow shifting too.
Nihon Pro Mahjong wrote:
2) Real Mahjong Unit, about non-collected riichi bets at the hanchan's end.
Real Mahjong Unit wrote:
"Riichi bets at the time of hanchan's end, ???"

3) 101
積み場 and 振りテンの特例 are not used, but I'm not quite sure what they mean.
a) 積み場: I guess it's a contraction/spelling varient of 積み棒 (tsumibō) + 本場 (honba)?, and thus mean continuance counters don't give extra points?
So there are no furiten exceptions, but what are furiten exceptions?

is used/allowed.
It talks about promoted kan and furiten.

Thanks :)

My answers are in blue.

You cannot do kuikae, calling and changing tiles when you have a complete sequence or trio.
Doing so it´s "dead hand".

2) Real Mahjong Unit, about non-collected riichi bets at the hanchan's end.
Real Mahjong Unit wrote:
"Riichi bets at the time of hanchan's end, ???"
When the hanchan ends, the riichi bets stays in their place in the table, thus get lost.

3) 101
積み場 and 振りテンの特例 are not used, but I'm not quite sure what they mean.

I think it´s what you said, "a) 積み場: I guess it's a contraction/spelling varient of 積み棒 (tsumibō) + 本場 (honba)".Which means, there is no honba in play and no honba payments.
b) 振りテンの特例: "furiten exceptions" I think this needs clarification. But it´s clear they´re not in use.

is used/allowed.
It talks about promoted kan and furiten.
I´m not so sure, but i think it say that when a late kan the kan tiles are considered as "dead", so if you end a hand in tenpai but need only the tiles kanned, you´re not in tenpai.
Thanks :)
Sorry I cannot help you more. :(
