They keep cranking out updates for this game. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=53180#p56449
This one, version 2.09, is on the Android system. (IOS will probably soon follow).
So, can you tell me what's new?

Thanks.

The game creators thanks the players and announce the 2.09 version.

Fuguai Shûsei) means "bugfixes". Or minor bugfixes, if you like it that way. They do not specify what was fixed.

They ask the players to keep playing it. (That's so japanese...)

Apart from that, nothing new...

Edit: Version 2.1.0 has the same info.

never paid much attention to this before, the japanese writing in the scorebox.
For the other players, I assume it's the name of various characters in the game, kanzaki shiho, kataoka gempei, horibe takeshi. True??
But what does it say below my name?

Came across this android app that I had not seen before. It is listed under "japanese mahjong" or "e-folder mahjong" and was updated a week ago.

The 1st and 3rd buttons are similar. The 3rd lets you pick an avatar for yourself. The 1st lets you pick 3 opponents or a random selection.
Don't know if they have different strengths or abilities.
Also not sure what the magnifiers (1st photo) actually do. Perhaps it's in the description which follows.

The 2nd button goes to settings. I can figure out some but not all. Could use some help here.

Thanks guys.
Seems like a decent interface. Three CPU levels. Would like to give it a shot.

Mahjong Tensei from e-folder.

1st pic: Main Menu

Main menu

Free match

Character change

(Did not see any info on the magnifiers.)

2nd pic: Options

Type of match: East only/East-South match

Red fives (1 each suit): On/Off (Ari/Nashi)

Open Tanyao: On/Off (Ari/Nashi)

Off
Sound Effects: On/Off

Touch to discard: 1 Touch/Touch twice

Game speed: Normal/Fast/Faster

3rd Pic: Options (second part)

CPU Thinking: Level 1/Level 2/Level 3. Level 3 is the hardest.

Off
Hands Open: On/Off

(Looks like you can modify some settings while playing a match with the screw nut symbol.)

On the lower-left of both sub-menu:

取消 Cancel.
決定 Done.

Second Post:

4th pic: (In-game screen)

The lower of the left-center buttons, which is red, has 鳴 kanji in it, meaning you can call tiles (Naki-ari). If you press it I bet you will enter in “no calling” tiles mode (Naki-nashi).

5th pic: (First explanation caption)

It says this free game is a four people mahjong for one player, without cheating. You can set the CPU level, you can show the tiles in all player’s hands, and other options.
If you’re the top player in an East only game, you'll unlock 1 character, if you're the top player in an East/South game you’ll unlock 2 new characters (up to a total of 40).

Touch the screen to cancel any call (even win calls).

Game basic rules are:

No multiple Ron. Atamahane applies here, only one winner.

In a draw, if the Dealer (Oya) is in Noten, the winds move, so there’ll be a new Dealer. Dealer flow (Oya nagare).

If the 4 players declare Riichi in the same hand (Sû-cha Riichi), or if everyone discard the same wind in the first turn (Sû Fû Renda), or if the starting tiles of any player includes 9 different terminals and honours (Kyûshu Kyûhai), there’ll be an abortive draw (Tochû Ryûkyoku).

You can do a Kan after a Riichi (if it doesn’t change your wait at all). (Riichi Ato no Ankan.)

All Kandora get revealed before you discard. Kandora Fast-reveal (Kandora Soku-mekuri).

The last pic talks about the options you can change in-game. Which I translated earlier, so there's no point in translating it.

Interesting that the fu points are listed as the exact amount before rounding up. Never seen that before.

I know what this is but am curious about the exact translation.

Lastly, What does this say?

Yeah, I saw that thing of showing the exact Fu maybe once. Is not common. But it´s cool to see it.

Ok, let's go. 2nd image:

チーする牌選挙、決定してください: Please select the tiles with which you'll do the Chii.

3rd pic:

Notification.

In the matches in which you set the option to show all the tiles ON you'll not unlock more characters. Is this OK to you?

YES/NO

EDIT: Thanks to you I´ve reached Cooper Boarder level. :)

6 lines below "CPU", isn't it?

Thinking level: Weak, Medium, Strong

Show all players hands: No, At the end of each hand, During each hand

Current Top Count: 0

If you get te Top 3 times you'll be able to choose [Strong] thinking level.
If you get te Top 6 times you'll be able to choose Show all players hands at the end of each hand.
If you get te Top 10 times you'll be able to choose Show all players hands during each hand.

ok, found this IOS app that recites a few of the common mahjong terms. The 1st screen has 4 choices. I think the last two say girl and boy (excluding the parenthesis) but I'm not sure.
On the 2nd screen, the first 6 buttons each say tsumo, ron, riichi, chi, pon, kan in 4 different voices . That's obvious.
The last 6 have three extra symbols tacked on to the above words but the voices don't seem to be saying the same thing.
For example, for the last button, the 4th voice says kan-tsumo-rinshan kaihou while the 3rd voice only says tsumo-rinshan kaihou. The 2nd voice sounds like kan-dora-nora nay-kah-nah.
For the 4th button, I'm hearing chi-muerta and chi-arigato. The other buttons are also somewhat different. I know there's not much help I can get with this so I'll just settle for a translation of the written words.

The four voices are:
お兄さん big brother
おじさん grandpa'
女の子 child girl
男の子 child boy
I'm not sure what the parenthesis means.

According to tangorin, セリフ means "speech; words; one's lines; remarks".
Cats don't do タンヤオ (tan-yao) but タニャーオ (ta-nya-o).
