シンプル麻雀オンライン/ Simple Mahjong Online.

Looks this game gives what promises. A simple mahjong game with online play for Nintendo Switch. Looks good.

Oh yeah, I forgot to put the name. :) (I had already added the game to page 1 of this thread though.)

It does look pretty basic, but it's nice to see a mahjong game for the Switch. Kinda surprised I hadn't seen one previously.

It's from Arc System Works who made the Tottemo e-Mahjong games for Vita and PS4.

Arc Systems is one of the best 2D fighting games creators. They're best known in the western world thanks to their Guilty Gear and Blaz Blue sagas.

They made more fighting games as Battle Fantasia (not too good if you play non japanese versions as they had voices cut out, the EU version does for sure), and a pretty good Fist of the north star/Hokuto no ken fighting game, for example...

That, and the fact they made Tottemo e-mahjong, which looked pretty fun, seems like a good resumé.

With the exception of Tekken 2 :D I'm not really into fighting games. I knew about GG and BB though and had mentioned these on page 1.

Of course soon there will be a Ryū ga Gotoku / Hokuto no Ken crossover game which will feature brawler combat - and possibly mahjong as well...?

That title has my total attention. I love Hokuto no Ken and same happens with Ryuu ga Gotoku, so with Hokuto ga Gotoku just do the math...

The latest trailer shows some of the minigames.

Looks like one of Sega's old skool Hokuto no Ken games will be playable!

Yeah, that's really cool!

The game looks actually great even if I still have my doubts about the voice actors. They used 龍が如く/Ryuu ga Gotoku/Yakuza voice actors instead of the most common voice actor for each character nowadays. Not that I'm saying the voice actors are bad (they're not), and it's not a bad idea but...

In this game, character models are pretty neat.

But even if this game looks awesome, for me (and it is at least for now), the first 北斗無双/Hokuto Musou/The Fist of the North Star Ken's Rage is the best Hokuto no Ken game made.

A few days ago saw a Yakuza bundle (6 and Zero) in the european PSN. Bought it.

Yakuza 6 will be out in less than two months, and I'll be able to download it.

Yakuza Zero is pretty good so far, but I'm just starting. Chapter 2...

80's Japan is weird, as is the flow of cash in this game.

I'm positive, the game seems really fun to play, and the chance to play as Majima is so cool...

Nice, I saw that they were doing a bundle.

Zero is regarded as one of the best games in the series. There's certainly a lot of cash going around in the bubble economy. I love all the retro branding!

6 introduced several good features (Wild Jackson finally!) and the new map has a lot of character, but overall it's really not so good.

Yes, a saw videos about the system changes, and Yakuza 6 looks awesome. A different matter is the story. Yakuza 5's story was just meh, so I don't high hopes for the 6's game.

For me the best stories are the ones in the second and fourth games (I have to play the first yet, I'll buy it someday).

6 is simply missing a lot of the usual content you'd expect too.

In related news, the demo for Hokuto ga Gotoku is now up on the Japan PS4 PSN store. (7.6GB)

Yeah, I played the Hokuto ga Gotoku demo a lot. Looks so awesome...

My twin said: The game looks cool considering is from SEGA... Sooo, you're going to buy it, right? (My twin knows how much I like both Yakuza games and Hokuto no Ken.)

Me: You bet! If the game is not released in Europe, I'll import the japanese version.

What kind of things are missing in Yakuza 6?

This should be your favourite game ever! :) I've downloaded the demo but not played yet.

Missing content you might expect:
Minigames: bowling, billiards, shogi, crane game, casino games, Japanese card/dice gambling games
Fighting arena
Champion District and Kamurocho Hills areas
Buying/crafting weapons
Skill training master (e.g. Komaki)
Circle parry to stun enemy
Fighting Majima
No Evening time in Kamurocho

Yes, except that these features were already absent from the original Japanese RGG6 too, not just "lost in translation".
