Ben's Blog
Just curious, who here\'s read it? I haven\'t updated it in forever. It\'d be good to know if there are people interested in reading more :side:
Re:Ben's Blog
I did, was lots of fun to read about all the mahjong adventures you\'ve had around Japan.
That said would be nice with more of them!

Re:Ben's Blog
Needless to say...
I was big fun of your blog!
Since I stopped my bologging I can\'t say much, but I wish I could read more of your thoughts on your blog.
Then, prolly I will restart my blog as well:woohoo:

I didn\'t realize you were in the Kanto area. I might drop by a jansou in Shibuya this Friday. Let me know if you\'re interested (Ill start a new topic).

Benjamin, your experiences mentioned on your blog are fascinating, and that was an interesting article you wrote there about Jenn/mahjong/jansou culture!
I\'m unable to fully understand your Japanese entry about the \"International opening of Japanese Mahjong\" properly though, so I\'m only getting the jist from the Kanji... (Makes me more motivated to learn the grammar) Anyway keep it up!

Re: Ben's Blog
Ben Boas' blog showed an interesting insight into the Jansou culture in Japan, I can recall the bit where a Jansou owner was very pissed off at how certain people dob him to the police for operating "gambling activities" (he didn't get prosecuted), and how he related it to Japanese people being very private/concealing in general. I note a correlation, seeing that Reach Mahjong strongly emphasizes on concealed hands...
I'm unable to access his blog as of today
, did he delete his blog?

I think Ben stopped blogging a long time ago, but it's a shame if the old content has been removed/lost.
