A 3-bam - For me,
by the way do we use periodic boundary conditions ? (for example: is 1 Pin a neighbour of 9 pin ?)

It\'s a single sequence so 9p\'s neighbours are 8p and east.

Hmmz im not really interested in winning rather then trying out my luck :)
So i pick 9-bam coz its an unlucky tile i get at almost every deal :)

I choose 4-bam. (No strategy involved, I just picked a tile from my own set.)

Fear not, FD! These are just spares (duplicates) of books I already own. (The second prize actually came bundled with that vintage tile-set I posted about recently.)
If I was ditching my MJ library there\'d be a lot more books on offer. Enough for one per person in fact! :)
Would you like to enter the competition?

Re:Super-mega competition - closing date Monday AM
Ahh, both very good reasons! :)
I\'ve decided that I\'ll make the grand draw and post the results on Monday at lunchtime (UK time) so if anyone else wants to enter the competition make sure you post your choice by then...!

Re:Super-mega competition - closing date Monday AM
I can confirm that I will be making the draw in the future and not the past! :silly:
I posted my previous almost exactly 24 hours ago so it was Tuesday 12:40pm local time here. Should\'ve been Tuesday wherever you were reading it unless you live in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
But yes, this coming Monday 10th.
Not had any more entries recently but I wanted to leave it up over a second weekend. All members still very welcome to enter.

Sorry Ref, I neglected to mention that one of the 8-bam tiles is missing from the set I\'ll be using for the prize draw...
I\'m just kidding. ;)
There\'s actually two 8-bam missing!
 (Okay, seriously, it\'s a full set of 136.)

Re:Super-mega competition - the result!!
Yes, it\'s the moment you\'ve all been waiting for...
 <fx: fanfare>
I\'ve made the grand draw for the super-mega MJ book competition. :woohoo:

The first draw was the 1-bam which no-one picked but b4k4ni04 is only one away so you take the first prize. :)
The second draw was green-dra which was picked by Shirluban so you get second. :)
Congrats both. For the sake of verification, please login and use the PM button under my Green Cat With No Name to send me a message with your name and address. I\'ll post your prizes at the weekend, or earlier if the weather\'s nice at lunchtime one day!
