BugMoney Tournament
Not quite sure if this should be in this forum or one of the others as it's technically advertising / promotion which I'm not completely clear on the forum rules for, but here goes:
The BugMoney Mahjong tournament is starting today and I'll be doing some of the streaming / commentating if anyone is interested in watching and listening in.
I'll also be playing in the tournament if you want to watch me fail, or you can watch Iapetus (or someone using the same name) who will probably be a lot more interesting to watch.
The schedule is here: http://puu.sh/a8i9o/1565e9206b.jpg
And the stream can be found here: http://www.twitch.tv/BugTourney

Re: BugMoney Tournament
That's me alright.
It's unfortunate that the first round overlaps with the WRC, which will also be streamed. But you should at least have time to watch mine today, and maybe some other early ones. Absolutely do consider watching the further rounds.

Re: BugMoney Tournament
Cool, I use Twitch already (just viewing, not streaming). I'll try to tune in when I can.

Since it's a mahjong tournament I guess it goes on the "Tournaments" section, which is, basically, advertising / promotion.
Of course, it's NOT for advertising cooking furnitures.

Re: BugMoney Tournament
Congrats! Although I suspect you were using magnets under the table to attract all those dragons in the first match.

It's confirmed. Iapetus plays rigged style. Kekekekekek

Re: BugMoney Tournament
Hey, is anyone available to be a sub at 2 PM GMT on Friday? We might be missing a person. Go to #bugmoney on IRC and contact Ozball or ping @Ozball on Twitter. Thanks!
Re: BugMoney Tournament
Looking at the schedule (and the current date), I guess you mean 2 PM GMT on Saturday, July 19 ?fuyutsukikaru wrote:Hey, is anyone available to be a sub at 2 PM GMT on Friday? We might be missing a person. Go to #bugmoney on IRC and contact Ozball or ping @Ozball on Twitter. Thanks!
(I won't be available, I have a World Riichi Championship to referee.)

Re: BugMoney Tournament
Actually it was that date and time, we had a last minute scramble for a reserve due to a typhoon in the Philippines. We MIGHT need one today as well at 9AM GMT (5AM EST, 6PM JST) for the same reason. Still waiting to here if the player in question was able to restore their power/internet or not.Shirluban wrote:Looking at the schedule (and the current date), I guess you mean 2 PM GMT on Saturday, July 19 ?fuyutsukikaru wrote:Hey, is anyone available to be a sub at 2 PM GMT on Friday? Re: BugMoney Tournament
Another tournament is running currently. To watch live matches streamed with English commentary sign up to Twitch and follow this channel. You can set notifications so you get an email alert when the channel goes live.
