Calling chii is a mistake. You end up with 556s where onlt 1 of 4s, 6s, and 7s remain. The player across is also gunning for souzu, discards clearly indicating a flush hand and not tanyao.
Given the time to absorb it all, I would probably recommend to just let it go, your hand 90% likely to be no-ten.
In the heat of the moment, I would have ponned the 6s, but again, with the micro-hope of tenpai, accepting that there is almost no chance at finishing the hand.
