A new record!

A new record!
A new record! 29 users online. 28 guests and me. So cool watching it happen.
Addendum: It appears this record has been broken again, and in a short amount of time.
November 12th, 34 users online.

Re: A new record!
Wow, that´s a lot of people!
Life is as beautiful as you want it to be, but it´s only one. That´s why you must not get tired of it. Don´t care if you don´t say something that seems "important" because your mere existence is important for someone.
Re: A new record!
The record for users online was broken 4 times in 5 nights, just after midnight, pacific time, USA .
After that, zero, nada, nothing, zilch. The swarm appeared each night for a short period and then just disappeared. Very strange that 90% of them were just hanging out on the index page. I'm starting to wonder if they ever actually existed at all, except in cyberspace, if that's even possible.
8/15/14....29
11/12/14...34
and then
9/11/15....43
9/13/15....47
9/14/15....54
9/15/15....55

Re: A new record!
Well, its been almost 10 months and I see that the record was broken again a few days ago. 67 users online!
Happened in the afternoon this time (my location), so I missed being part of this one. Too bad!
(Now if only all those people would register and start posting)

Re: A new record!
This doesn't yield the same kind of thrill for me like it used to but I thought I'd keep it up to date.
I noticed on 3/31/19, almost 3 years since the last time, we had a record 94 people online at the same time.
Quite remarkable though, I wonder if we will ever reach 100.

Re: A new record!
I've often noticed and pondered that statistic. Given that I only ever see one or two users online (including myself), these figures must be artificially high. They seem rather low for a serious DDoS attack so my best guess would be multiple spambots trying to bypass the (cunningly mahjong-themed) registration process using brute force...?
Re: A new record!
I've often suspected something weird was going on (see 9/16/15 post above) but not being an expert (or even half an expert) on computers, I just went along for the ride, and had some fun.
Re: A new record!
When I checked in on the forum a few days ago, I noticed a certain number (3152) at
the bottom of the sign-in page.
Having a nostalgic moment from over 10 years ago, when the forum was really hopping during my learning years, and I was really excited about these things,
I decided to look in on an old thread, when a new record of about 30 people online was a big deal (for me).
A year later, the record was broken 4 times in a week, to 55 . Wow. A big deal (for me).
A year later, 67.
Three years later, 94.
I wondered if it would ever reach 100!!
So now, in 2025, almost 6 years later, with forum activity extremely slow, and out of sheer boredom,
I must bring up that this poses a mind boggling question:
Note: This post not to be taken seriously, just for fun.

Re: A new record!
3152 = badly miscalculated 2 Han 50 Fu non-dealer Ron win
31 52 = max days in a month and whole weeks in a year
3152 = 16 x 197
(That was a big ol' number on 13 Jan. A grand gathering of spambots to celebrate the birthday of Julia Louis-Dreyfus?)

Re: A new record!
Very nice examples.
Thanks for taking time to have some fun.
I only found one with any significance (to me)
31 52. Helmut Balderis. WHAT!! WHO??
Soviet Hockey player in the 1980 Winter Olympics Lake Placid
Born on the 31st of July in 19 52
Wore #19 and won Silver Medal (USA won Gold)
GREAT GAME!!
