Lucky Tofu

I thought I saw some mahjong tiles in a freezer at an Asian supermarket so I had to get a photo.

This is actually tofu marked for good luck (好運發百頁). It really looks like green dragon tiles - funny since "tofu" is slang for white dragon.

Serve fourteen on a plate for All Honours, All Green.

It's tofu, it has the hatsu kanji, and it's intended for onaka (仲). Daisangen!!

I didn't get any, but I did buy a tin of mock duck to put into my お中. Haven't had that for years; also I enjoy saying "mock duck". Sounds like Klingon!

I think, in 咲―Saki, Amae Koromo thinks: 最後の豆腐/Saigo no toufu. something like: "Here comes the last Tofu" or "The last thing I needed (to disturb Kana) is this tofu", or something like that while playing against Saki, Kana, and Yumi. (Translation may vary depending on context.) I think she thought so when she discarded that white dragon and tried to disturb Kana's play (successfully, of course), but I don't remember it very well...
