Re: My hand of the week
Congrats. This was an auspicious victory with the Year of the Dragon just three weeks away.

Re: My hand of the week
And, being east in the east round,
And, someone else calling a kong.
What more could you ask for?
Well, I could ask for drawing the

Well, maybe.

Re: My hand of the week
A Craks half-flush with double east and Dora honours seems to be your theme for this year.
I do like Honitsu but it's so rarely this valuable.
Counted Yakuman is quite uncommon, especially without red fives to add Han.
Yet my first ever Yakuman in a video-game was Kazoe Yakuman. (with two quad sets and eleven Dora!)

Merchants looking for a reliable crypto processing solution can explore https://bithide.io/high-risk-payment-gateway. It enables secure transactions without KYC requirements. Before integrating, I suggest checking security measures and transaction limits to ensure smooth operations.

Not worth as much as the last two, but I'll take it!

Re: My hand of the week
Pretty good for a Toi-Toi! The Yakuhai Dora still working well for you.

This is just a website where you can play, only solo vs the computer. Nothing fancy, no rules settings or whatever.
But getting one of these is always cool.

Re: My hand of the week
Got two nice ones this week.
First was honitsu with yakuhai dora , which seems to be working for me.
Second was honitsu with chitoitsu (7 pairs), which was a bit harder to get.
Only 2 doras on that one.
Pictures are in reverse order, don't know how that happened. Sorry.
Need to refresh my memory, what do the numbers 04 00 and 05 02 that are below my name, represent?
(I might have to figure this out by myself after a few more games)
I think one is how many times riichi was called. By all players??
Not sure on the other (seems to increase when hand ends in a draw).
Thanks for any help.

Re: My hand of the week
Congrats on two nice Baiman wins, Steve. You were racking up the points.
Chinitsu is the full flush hand and Honitsu is the "half flush" (with winds and/or dragons).
Yes, the second number is for Riichi, represented by a 1000-pts scoring stick. It's probably the total number of Riichi sticks available to the next hand-winner. (If a game shows the Riichi sticks on the tabletop from the current hand, sometimes the counter might only show leftover Riichi stakes from previous hands.)
The first number is the Honba counter, represented with a 100-pts stick. It increases by one when a hand ends in a draw or a dealer win. The current Honba value multiplied by 300 pts is added to each hand win. The counter resets to zero after a non-dealer player wins a hand.
__
Congrats to Ref too for the Yakuman. Would've been Koizumi's "Rising Sun" if you were completing a 1-Pin pair.
That game reminds me of the old gamedesign.jp Flash mahjong game which was a handy way to play for free in English.

Ah, chinitsu vs honitsu, I knew that, brain drain, went back and changed it.
Ah, riichi sticks available to NEXT hand winner.
That's why it increases when any player calls riichi and resets back to zero
after the next win .
Ah, honba on the table, which resets after non-dealer win. Got it!
Logical explanation for everything.
See what happens when forum life slows way down.

Heh, yeah... I can see the similarity with gamedesign. It's a shame that flash died...
If anyone wants to try it, the place to go is https://mahjongsoft.com/rcrm_local.php

Re: My hand of the week
a lot harder to get and didn't involve any dora tiles.
Junchan- terminal in every set.
San Shoku- identical run in 3 different suits .
Iipeiko- double run in the same suit.
Riichi- needed to make it more interesting .
(If this was an open hand, no riichi, no Iipeiko, and dont forget, KUISAGARI.
Result is 3900 points only)
(Forgot how to post a link to another thread.
Can anyone refresh my memory? )
Thanks Bart, so easy, shame on me.
